“Buddy” was a seven time letter winner in football, basketball, and track at SHS. He was the County Quarter Mile Champion. He was selected by Street and Smith Magazine as one of the top 50 high school basketball players in 1963.
“Buddy” received five varsity letters at West Point in football and lacrosse. He played in the North/South All Star games in both football and lacrosse. He was Captain of the Army football team. He was All East on the AP Team and Honorable Mention All American in football. He was the NJSWA “College Athlete of the Year”.
“Buddy” was a scholar as well and was selected on the Academic All-American Football Team. he was a recipient of the National Football Foundation’s Scholar Athlete Award. He was the ECAC Merit/ Achievement Medal Winner.
Buddy also served his country as an Army officer after graduation. He is an attorney and lives in Florida with his wife.
